Default This weekends pens... first non-slimlines for me...

Here are my first pens that are not slimline... Bocote, Paduk and one of my first ever batch successfully cast resin blanks, that was made a few weeks ago (done a lot of casting since then). The resin one is a 24kt Gold Americana Fountain Pen. The middle one (Paduk) is an Ink Rollerball. All finished with CA & Hut polishes.

Sweet looking, the paduk will get a little more red over the years, the resin in the wood is UV reactive.
Like the casting, looks a little retro, like something from the 60s or 70s.

Gee Steve, 3 magnificent pens mate !. The retro resin one is a real winner too, very different to any acrylics I have seen. Hope you kept or remember the recipe for that one, as it's a beauty. Also, very crisp & clear pics too. Is the black background a pen case ?. Why haven't I thought to use a pen case as a background ... really enhances the colors in the pens !.
    I never forget anything I remember !!

Just to be different Steve, I like the PAduk and if it becomes more red over a period of time it will end up a very lovely pen. All are good. You have your casting working well
