    Default White Cypress Crotch

This one of the bits Ben sent me in the latest swap and I could not wait to turn a pen from it. White Cypress Crotch and boy does it smell nice when turning it. Hope you like it. Black TI Cigar Kit

Sounds like the smell equals the looks of that pen. It is very very nice. The pattern is amazing.

    Seer,

Ask Ben to show you a hollow form he made recently from that same timber, Richard Raffan was incredibly impressed with this and other bowls he presented at the Royal Canberra Show, one large burl bowl buyer said it was worth twice the price charged (easy to say after the purchase) however I agree.

The blank along with all blanks from Ben is handpicked and often cut from the tree by Ben who really loves neat timber with grain as I do as well.

    Fortunate swap methinks.

    Kind regards Peter.

Seer and Ben with a note to Fred (Fredo),

Ist Ben not the first time I remembered timber names incorrectly apology.

Fred I have remarked to Richard Raffan and Ben I liken Bens work as outstanding as yours undoubtedly is to me both of you set a real standard as does Richard.

Seer glad you asked I would have next time I visit with Ben.

Now to sum up in the words of others as well you aint seen nothing yet look for the great stuff produced by Fred and Ben as setting the standard for selection and Craftsmanship in both turned objects as well as First Class Wood Pens. Fred also is a legend in metal work innovation, Ben is a Master Welder amongst other skills, I regard both your friendships highly, top guys.

    Kind regards Peter.
