Default Who can make me some

Is the anyone out there (preferably between Bris & Gold Coast) that can/does make bushings for turning between centres. I need them for Sierra, Knight, and JR Gent. I want good quality ones that will last. I also need someone to make a 100mm tool rest for my woodfast mini lathe (post is 16mm).

    Cheers Rumnut

I'm a bit further away than Brisbane/Gold Coast, but I make No Mandrel Bushes for turning between centres.

They are made from 304 Stainless Steel and I have made them for most kits, including the ones you list.

Drop me a PM if you would like further details.

Glad to find this post. I have a heap of kits I've got aong the way and didn't get bushes for them.
I'm going for a look at what I need and get ready for a PM Fred.
Or do I go for tapered ones and just measure what my final dimension should be and just stop there. mmm

I second the idea of using fred even if it is only for the kits that you use alot because they are great bushes and you can't go wrong with them they are great to use.

Rumnut. I have ordered some from Fred over the last few weeks and they are brilliant. I am finally getting round pens and not oval from bend mandrels. Its only the difference of a day to have them posted from Victoria.

Yep I have ordered some from Fred today - I think I would have been foolish not to after the glowing recommendations from other forumites. It just goes to show what value we get from this amazing forum.
