    Default Wooden pen this time

A JR Gents pen kit in gunmetal finish and I have fitted a Silver Birch Burr blank, even though you could see some grain in the blank it was not until I applied the finish did it really come to life.

That's a very flashy piece of timber, looks great.

What finish did you use ?

I used BLO/CA finish, this is something I use on all of my wooden pens

Always love burl (burr in your land) of any description. The fit and finish of yours looks first class.

Even though I use the bushes for pens I only use them as a guide, when near the correct size I measure for fit
