"What Wood is That"?
Hey everyone. Been a while since I posted on the forum. I've just finished this pen for a customer using a piece of timber from a tree they had chopped down in their back yard several years ago. Now, can anyone guess the timber ??. Wonderful to turn, nice aroma, very dense & heavy. Amos, no clues OK

It's a Valencia Orange tree. Carefully dried out over several years. A bit ordinary looking timber but the tree had very special significance to the owner, as it was planted the day of their daughters birth, and 35 years on, their daughter just passed away from bowel cancer.
