    Default worthless and lamp test

Playing with a new light set up, robbed some lamps off an old ceiling fan, made some brackets to fit my light cage and then had to make a pen or two to test it...this is number 2...

    morning Ed,

There are other lamps that fit those lights kind of spot will give you a lift in sparkle especially if you use one light the background with one you have now to give separation. The lights you use now are ideal for things other than pen pens like pen rests etc. See your ideas on composing like this as well.

Truly like your penmanship, choices on the first one, the second pen perfect for SWMBO no doubt in hovering mood as we speak.

Good to see you out and about.

    Kind regards Peter.

    Peter,
Currently trying to convince SWMBO that we need to replace the fan in the living room too….
Something tells me she is on to me though.
I am going to stop by Texas Art Supply and see what it cost to buy those colored acetate gels pros use to add color to small spot lights, might check out the cost of real spotlights also.
The pen is involved in negotiations at the moment between my 18 year old daughter and the wife, something about a ladies night out and a party at the house….
I plan on hiding in the shop either way.

    Hi Ed,

Using gels creates WOW but HOW do you control your magic white balance?

After 40 or 50 yrs with film Digital forces me to reconsider and simplify colour gels look schmick and I always have said we need to ride our motorbikesw without the exhaust at least once.

As the father of one son and five daughters plus Wilma my wife over the last 59 yrs I have learned or been forced to learn a little about woman. I too find absence is safety when the girls get to choosing but we have a law if you dont consult before spending and it goes wrong you wear it. My punishment for the girls is to wear the ties they buy me.

With pen pics I use a simple set up, repeatable, quick, emphaSIS on the pen get arty farty every now and then.

    Kind regards Peter.
