    Default Xmas present :)

A friend in the US went out of their way to post me some stuff from a company that doesn't ship to Aussie ,Good thing it only took 8 days to arrive to me yesterday , he added a few bits as fillers and as he doesn't make pens asked me to make him something from one of the blanks, I chose a 2 tone desert Iron wood and a roman harvest ,just off the lathe hehe, what could be better than making a xmas present on xmas day , cheers john
First picture is the packing bits he sent, followed by what is going back

Really nice collection of blanks, and the pen you created is beautiful, love the sap wood on heart wood look, no mistaking what that pen is made of.
