Beaded face frames...?
Hi,
I am new here and I hope this is the correct place to post this question.
Q: Has anyone mounted/used the Kreg Beaded Face Frame system with the Incra Table saw or Router Precision Fence systems?
I am looking at doing some beaded face frames and the Kreg is pretty cool but I would like to purchase the Incra system and do the same on it.
Any ideas on how to do this?
Thanks,
Keri-Ann

Yes, you can use the Kreg beaded face frame system on an Incra router table, providing that you have the right slots in the table. The Kreg system mounts in mini t-track, not the mitre track. And the centre of the t-track needs to be within 6" and 6.5" from the centre of the router plate opening (as per downloadable instructions from Kreg's site). If you don't have a t-track alongside your mitre track, or if it is outside of the 6-6.5" dimensions then you will either need to re-make your router top to accomodate or not use the Kreg system.
Being that the Kreg system is a dedicated beading system, complete with the clamp, lever, etc etc as far as I am aware Incra do not make anything that would allow you to do that procedure in as little time.

Thanks for the reply. I see what you mean.
I did look at the manual to see how it was setup, sweet system. I could route a groove in my router table and install a Incra track to accommodate the Kreg bead system. With the correct measurements as you stated, it should work.
