LS Wonder Fence Question
Hi Good Peoples,
I recently got an LS Wonder Fence Super System. Bloody brilliant to say the least. I have been able to do some great work with this system and its worth every cent. The accuracy is incredible.
Now to my question. I took both sides of the super fence off to make some set up adjustments and a black piece of plastic fell out. (Picture below.)
I have no idea what it does or how it is meant to fit into the inside of the Super Fence. Any ideas please?Cheers
Ric

It's for covering up the holes that you look through to sight the tool you use to make adjustments inside the fence. It locks in place with a black knob. If you don't your vacuum cleaner for dust control will not work as well as it should as it will be able to suck air through the extra holes.
SBPower corrupts, absolute power means we can run a hell of alot of power tools

Your wonder fence consists of two box sections an infeed section and an out feed section. When you open / move these apart to accommodate a larger router bit the plastic fits into a channel inside at the back of the sections to maximize dust extraction.
If still I doubt give Grahame Waterson at professional woodworkers supplies as he is Australia's expert in regard to incra products.
Hope this helps

Hi SB, Oops.... I should have thanked you too. Hower, the part in question does not actually cover up the tool sight holes as you suggested. It is the Inside channel part that waikune suggested.
From the picture both look like bits of black plastic, so its not surprising there were two different responses with two different suggestions.
Thanks again.
Cheers
