Incra LS TS positioner on a Sawstop
Anyone using the LS/TS on a Sawstop? If so how hard was the installation and have you found it accurate/repeatable. Being able to micro increase/decrease the size of the cut with a dial is far more appealing than tapping the fence and sneaking up on the cut. The only problem is the extra space needed around your saw to allow for the movement of the arm. There isn't a huge amount of information other than a few Youtube videos

Works really well, very happy with the setup. As you indicate you do need a bit more room on the right hand side.

I got the LS TS for my Jet table saw. As far as installation I’d imagine it’s very similar. The instructions are very good, and you can also email the owner personally if you get stuck and he’ll reply with a detailed response. He even followed up a few days later to check up.
I absolutely love mine. As you said the ability to make fine adjustments is amazing. The repeatability, accuracy etc is outstanding and I’m very glad I got mine.
I also got the wonder fence for the router table and it’s incredible. I can post some photos later if that helps?

Thanks for the replies. Yes I'd love some pics groeneaj. I read an old review from Marc Spagnolo aka the wood whisperer saying the fence constantly went out of alignment with the slot and blade. He's basically saying he couldn't lock the fence solidly enough to prevent any movement. I assume this is rare as if it applied to everyone they wouldn't sell any. His other criticisms were he felt he needed to not only lock the fence at the bridge end but at the rail as well, maybe due to his lose fence problem, and of course the loss of rip capacity. So do you have any of these problems? How much rip capacity do you have?
Jim do you know where I can see one of these in the flesh? Not the router version but the table saw version where I can see how it works with the rails

Barri- I’m pretty sure there’s a lead up time of about 6 months. If you go onto their website it states this. Unless there’s stock somewhere in Oz but from memory you’ll need to wait or get one second hand (I think there’s one being advertised on the forum now).
INCRA TS-LS Table Saw Fence - 52" Range
I’ll take some pics later for you.

I reckon that the Incra LS is the best bit of kit one can buy for a tablesaw.
When I was doing production work, I'd put up a cutlist with the dimensions all worked out (using Sketchup and Cutlist Plus).... I'd just whack everything out en-masse super fast and all of it was ppeerrffeecctt.
On a well tuned tablesaw the cuts are like lasers.
With the router set up bolted under the table on the right hand side it was absolutely perfect for boxes.
After I sold the saw, I absolutely kept the Incra stuff.

Hi WoodPixel, that's why I'm so interested because of its accuracy, repeatability and the ability to micro adjust. A 6 month wait has dampened my enthusiasm.

I'm certainly not thinking of selling mine. As groeneaj mentioned though there was one listed for sale on the forum recently.

I've actually ordered the 32" version through Professional Woodwork supplies. Thanks Graeme They placed an order last November so shouldn't be too far away. I have one main concern. The right side of my Sawstop is against a wall and I'm trying to figure out how far from the wall do I need to move the saw to allow the arm to stick out to its extreme. I've looked up Incra's site and watched many videos but the answer isn't obvious.
Probably the best way to ask this is ..... when the arm is sticking out the furthest it can (fence closest to the carriage), how far is it from the end of the arm to the blade. Another question which would really help .... how far is it from the right of the carriage to the end of the arm with it sticking out to its extreme. This of course is with the bridge and carriage at a position to give the maximum rip which is about 32" (812mm)
EDIT ..... Just found it on Incra's site on the FAQ page. The total width from the left of the rail to the right of the arm when fully extended is 102" (2590mm) or about 34" from the wall. I had a rough guess and moved the saw 33" from the wall. Not a bad guess. I think I'll leave it. I don't think I've ever ripped over 30" (750mm) in the last 5 years and if I do you can just lift off the LS-TS and clamp a straight edge.
I found this excellent picture showing it on Sawstop but its the bigger saw with the 52" version of the LS-TS. Looks pretty classy!
