    Default Mitre 1000SE Setup

Hi, I have just gobe through setting up my Incra 1000se. It's square and zeroed to the blade, all good and happy. Now when i change to a 45' cut the mitre bar fence will need to be moved so as to not hit the blade. My question is does everyone just go through the length recalibration process each time they change angles or is there a better way?

    Regards

    Peter

Just setting mine up as well. You will need to recalibrate the length for the stop each time. I intend to cut two short blocks of known length - one at 90deg and one at 45deg and use them to set to stop. I think that will be easy and accurate.

    Cheers

Hi Mike, that sounds like a very smart idea. I think I'll be copying you on that one.

    Thanks

    Peter
