Just received the TS-LS 52" fence!
I just want to say the service was second to none and I want to thank all the guys/gals at Incra for their great service.
Ok, I have it setup and made a few cuts and I can't begin to say how good this system is. Cut after cut the precision is still there even when the fence is moved and put back to the same position. The big thing for me is that there is no judging by eye to get the fence aligned to the distance you need.
Anyway, just wanted to share my experience with the board!

52" ?
Do you mean 32" positioner or 72" rails ? I didn't think incra made a 52" stroke positioner ? If they do I need to order one
I can't say I'm surprised your happy. They really are revolutionary things...everything just works..I'm just a startled bunny in the headlights of life. L.J. Young.

Must say I love Incra's stuff, pity it's darn expensive over here. I've just bought the ibox from incrementaltools.com and shipped it over here $100 less. The ibox is brilliant by the way, absolutely love it.

Check your numbers???
I've just had this discussion with another customer yesterday The i-Box is listed at USD 169.99 USPS to Australia is USD 79.60 less $10 discount = USD 239.50
Adjust for Exchange Rates and Bank Charges = $247 - $248 AU
LOCAL PRICE = $250 plus GST ($275.00) with free delivery.
I'm not justifying our pricing, just questioning your "$100 less" claim.

At the time the exchange rate was $1.05. I also received a 15% discount from Incremental. Total $140 or so, just have to wait for my CC statement (shipping to US location = free).
I also shipped using a less expensive method which was delivered to a U.S postal address then on-forwarded. Sometimes I have to wait a few weeks for the goods to actually ship because I'm waiting for space on a small air container to fill with other orders from other people. Total $42.
Total cost = $185 delivered, no GST.
I know I should be buying from local suppliers however my budget is tight and if I can gain any advantage, then I will. At the end of the day, this is a superb product. So I apologise, I was $10 out.
Grahame, I eagerly await your cost breakdown.-Scott

Well the bubble has burst and cheap buying from USA has slipped away. The exchange rate (Via Visa including the overseas taxation fee for OS transactions via visa....banks have to charge this...something many don't realize) equates now to 0.94 and falling. That means that $100USD costs us now $106AUD.......tide has turned the other way
I bought my iBox from Graham because for the little extra that it cost me was not enough to worry about when I know that if there is any product defect or issue I can just return it easily as I leave a few minutes away, plus I can see the products first hand, etc. I've always preferred point of sale purchasing then mail order unless not available here.

Looks like I was wrong, I just checked my Incra jig and it has the 32" stroke with the ability to be adjusted to rip to 52", via 96" Rails.(I think they are 96")

17", 25" & 32" Only
Hi Dave
You're right, Incra only make 3 size LS Positioner bodies 17, 25 & 32 the 52" range is achieved by repositioning the unit 20" further along the rail. No big deal really.
However unless you really need this feature the 32" is better as the 93" rails incurr a lot of extra transport costs.

Right, that's what I thought. I'll stop scouring the website then...
I'd have the longer rails if i could get them at a sensible price. I'm forever running out of throat. My router is to the right of my blade though.... The motor protrudes to the left so I'd need to space a left router table out about 6".I'm just a startled bunny in the headlights of life. L.J. Young.

90 something inch rails for Incra
Hi Grahame,
I reckon the 90" (roughly 8 feet) rails are well worth the extra cost. In the years since I bought mine from you (in the early days) they have been absolutely invaluable. With my Jet table saw and the full Incra set-up over a router table with one of your router lifters and the Incra router table support system, I just cannot imagine my workshop without it. While I look upon all my woodworking purchases over the years as good investments, I reckon the Incra system including the 96?" rails is one of the best. With retirement just around the corner I'm looking forward to really getting to enjoy it even more.
Cheers,
Graeme Carson.
