Default Our DEMO unit has arrived!!!

    Hi all

The demo unit has arrived and WOW!! it is some smart piece of kit. 10mm box joints were made a few hours after it arrived. We showed it off for the first time at the Eltham & District Woodworkers where it was very well received.

It will be up on our website shortly.

    Stay tuned...

    Regards

    Hi all

Having seen and used the i-Box we are very enthusiastic about it. It is a very innovative piece of equipment that makes box joints and wooden hinges a breese.

With our initial allocation expected late May early June we have listed it on the web-site HERE

As you will see, Incra have now made it possible to make the humble box joint 'sexy'..............

    Regards

It looks like a good bit of kit and if it is anything like the other Incra products it will be very well made. The image of it being used on the table saw seems to be screaming out for a second runner in the mitre channel to help reduce any potential racking however I am sure that it is solid enough, particularly given the router table only has the one channel.

I do like a box joint but the name really could do with some work ..... i-Box! I would have expected something a little more classy from Incra.

    Hi

The i stands for intelligent..... and when you look at it and use it there isn't a better name, not in my vocabulary at least.

A more detailed descriprion etc is in our eUpdate newsletter that is going out today.

    Hi All

The good news is that our order appears to be running to a better schedule than we expected, it looks like we'll see them in the week ending May 25th.

The bad news is that our initial allocation has just about sold out, so if you want one hop in now.

    Regards

    Grahame

Any idea what the "normal" price will be?
I would love one but the timing is poor for me

    Hi

It really depends on the AUD vs. USD battle, i hope they will stay <$300 even then they're great value for money.
