    Default Abbey Tournament

    Is anyone in Brisbane going to the Abbey Tournament on July 7 or 8 to demonstrate Green Woodworking ?

    Even though I live about 10 minutes away from it, I've never been in the 7 years since I returned to Brizzy.

    In the last 4 that I've been to there hasn't been any wood demo's but it's well worth going to.

    I went about 3-4 times in the early 1990's. I was one of the "official photographer"s in 2003. Great fun, good family day. No woodworking to show; some things that people had made beforehand could be seen at particular stalls. Jousting is worth the price of admission (those guys and gals are mad ).
