Elm Treen
IMG_5708.jpgIMG_5705.jpgHappy with these treen made from an Elm that was going into the chipper. The heartwood really adds to the overall look of the finished product.

Love the shape of the ladle. 👍
What are the dimensions of it?

Had to look up "treen" coz I thought you mistyped "tree" twice...
Vociferous gratitude for the augmentation of an inquisitive vocabulary....

Ladle
Thanks Cava. It was a bit of a test piece. First time having a go at a ladle shape. I modelled it on a plastic one from the kitchen and just reduced the cup dimensions according to the available wood size. The handle is about 12 inches and the diameter of the cup is around 2.5 inches.
