Not woodwork, but seriously impressive...
I wish I could do this stuff as well as James Binnion.
He does have extra toys, but still...

What is more he is a really nice guy. He is on the Orchid mailing list - a jewellery mailing list and takes the time to help people where he can.
My girlfriend just sent me the link to the how to he wrote and while I would guess that about nobody has the right kit at home to do it his way, it was still very decent of him to post it.
As they say, "The best don't have trade secrets, 'cause they don't need to..."
This is his personal website - I wish I could afford some of the work he does!

I think that's the most beautiful jewellery I've ever seen.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

That is why if I am going to have a wedding ring, I want it to be mokume gane.
My attempts have been OK, but can only be compared to Jim's stuff like gluing and screwing can be compared to perfect dovetails.
Still, he is a pro, so I guess he should be better!
Now to find a spare heap of money to make a purchase...<Insert witty remark here>
