'Chin up' or 'Heave' bar in the shed ...
G'day Viewers
In addition to tools, beer fridge, unused surfboard, etc, the shed also has my exercise equipment. So as it's where I do most of my exercise I've been thinking about putting in a 'chin up' bar.
The rafters / joists / trusses are exposed (apologies for imprecision wrt those structural terms - I'm not a builder) and are fixed with multi nail connector plates.
Any suggestions about how to approach this?
Thanks for any info

Look around at a few auction's where they're selling gym equipment, you may find a proper free standing chin up/dip stand maybe with a weight swing(good for beginners).
