Converting an outside storage room into a normal room accessible within the apartment
Hi,
I currently own a ground floor apartment which has an external storage room attached to the outside of the apartment.
What I would like to do is to be able to convert that external storage room into a normal looking room with floorboards and plaster board walls etc... I will also need to make it accessible from within the apartment as the external storage room is only accessible from the outside at the moment.
I'm not quite sure where to start, or whether I'd need plans drawn up, or whether I can engage a builder who can help me with this. Any ideas?
If there are anyone who's interested in this project please contact me.
Thanks
Pix 1: This shows how the storage room looks like
Pix 2: this is taken at an angle, the storage room is sitting right next to the apartment, but there is no access within the apartment
Pix 3: I've photoshopped Pix 2 to show roughly what I want done, basically to wall up the storage, and add a window, and make the inside look like a proper room, as well as make it accessible internally
Any help, ideas, suggestions will be very much appreciated!
