Hi guys, first post, need some friendly advice...

My sister has a warehouse there is an area in it which she wants divided into 2 rooms and Ive been the designated the builder! ha!

The problem is the area is a mezzanine floor. So 3 sides have walls with chipboard on it. The other open side is where she want one wall to go to close it off, then another inside to divide the room up again. Straightforward enough I just use 90x45 f5 timber for the stud work ye? but she wants the room soundproofed so I need a plasterboard ceiling with insulation. How do I support the ceiling joists? I mean they normally land on top of the stud work but 3 sides have existing stud work which go up pretty high so I can't land on the top plate? What do you do in this situation?
