drafting indemnity
Hi,
Is there any regulatory authority that governs who can produce both DA & construction cert drawings in NSW, I have contacted Dept of fair trading & MBA NSW and got a no, no need for any form of license.
I am an ex structural drafstman and have currently put forward a DA with no problem and am about to put through a CC (structural work engineered & drafted seperately/by structural engineer).
My only worry is that when I engage a builder, is there anyway down the track they can put the bounce on me in regards to any building issues they may appear other than standard variations that go along with it, eg utilise the fact that I don't have registered buisness and associated idemnity insurances.
However if everything is contracted properly I assume this won't be a drama.
regards
exdraftee
