Drilling into metal support post
I have an external plaster angel I want to fix to a 75mm x 75mm metal support post, which holds up an I beam running the full length of the house upstairs. The support post is in the centre of the house. Is it ok to use this to fasten 8g metal screws along 2 of it's sides? This will not weaken the post? Cheers.
