External stud walls on top of floorboards or joists?
Hi all,
I'm building a cubby house for the little bloke and have finished the joists. My question is, should I put the flooring down next and the stud walls on top of the floorboards, or should the stud walls sit directly on top of the joists. These are the external, or 'load bearing' walls.
So, do I either do:
option a) joists, floorboards, stud walls
option b) joists, stud walls, then floorboard to butt up to these
Cheers!
