Really need a favour re bearer/joist selection
My local pony club flooded and wrecked the hay room, which was floored with pavers. I want to build a raised H3 plywood floor to get feed up out of the ground moisture and I want to use H3 engineered bearers and joists on short steel piers. I'm really time-strapped atm and wonder if someone could pull out the correct sizes for me please, eg lvl bearer and I-beam joist. Room is 3900mm square and I would like to have just two bearers, each on three piers, probably 450mm in from opposite walls and the joists would then span the 3000mm between with 450mm O/H on each end. Using 15mm or 17mm H3 ply would I need 450 or 600 centres? Absolute max weight distributed evenly over the floor would be 2000 kg.
Cheers to anyone who can help.
Michael
