How to fix broken part of a roof truss.
Was in the roof on the weekend and noticed that one of my roof trusses has a broken vertical support between the top peak of the truss and the bottom rafter. (Sorry if I have the technical names wrong. ).
The house is still under builders warrantee (house is 6 years old) and the builder is coming next week to have a look.
What would be the correct way of fixing this? Also the ceiling has a bow in it now as the bottom rafter has dropped approx 15-20mm. I want to have a rough idea before the builder comes so I know what's expected and what I can ask for.
Cheers
Paul
