Ok ... I already know this may end in tears but I'd really appreciate some help on this particular challenge.

I'm working on how to construct a small side extension (1.6m x 5.4m approx.) between the house and the boundary. I'd like to avoid using a box gutter and instead use standard quad gutter, which I think is possible given the small roof area and because I've seen it on a similar application elsewhere. Due to the minimal space I'd also like to use a single wall rather than double thickness (I've already worked out this can be done and achieve fire rating).

So with these bits in mind ... is it possible to use quad gutter and how would the rafters look (i.e. can I notch them to suit as per my drawings). I have conjured up a concept for which I will add drawings shortly ... let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Light blue - Timber wall frame, joists, rafters, battens (90x45mm)
Magenta - Tin roof
Green - Standard 115mm quad gutter

White - External cladding
