installing an inwall fish tank
I am looking at purchasing an in-wall fish tank, it is 1600mm long X 570mm high X 150 deep and has all the lights and filter inbuilt into the tank.
It has a facia surround type setup so if mounting into an existing 70mm wall it will stick out the 80mm or so.
Now the install is what I am iffy about as I am not sure how to cut the 4 or 5 studs to able to slide the tank into place. If I decide to do it on a structural wall is there a way to do this still or do I have to stick to the non load bearing ones?
I am guessin all external walls are loadbearing? as I think it would be able to sit further recessed in as there is a cavity behind the studwork and bricks so would have less protruding if I could get away with it.
Will post up a plan of the house when I scan it at work tomorrow showing desired walls for installation.
