    Default Lazer light noisy

    Hello GuysDoes anyone have any idea how to stop Lazer light (think it is Lazer light 2000) from making so much creaking noise - it is driving my batty?cheers.

    thxI didn't actually put it up - but looking from below looks like there is a 10ml ish hole drilled that the teck screw is in. Is that what you meen or are there special screws?cheers.

    The proper screws cut a clearance hole for the shank so that the sheet is free to move allowing for temperature induced expansion/contraction. They also have a largish neoprene washer to cover the hole.

    Yeah its got all that - wonder if the colourbond capping is doing anthing.A few people have told me that laser light just does this - nothing can be done about it - find that hard to belive.

    Wink Tape for Lazer

    I installed Lazer sheets and used the foam tape to put in the beams before screwing it on. You may be able to retrofit it if you back off the screws and insert a strip from below otherwise you would have to remove the sheets. One side is sticky. It can be found near where you buy Laser in a big hardware store.
    It reduces the problem of creaking from thermal changes and wind.
