New, non-load-bearing stud wall
Hi,
I've recently had the load taken off a stud wall that I want to rip down and move.
We have a timber lining board ceiling. When I build the new wall, is it necessary to remove some of the lining boards and some of the floor so the wall can be attached directly to the floor and roof structure or is attaching it through the floorboards and lining boards okay?
