Hi we have a late 1960s Canberra (Aranda) house, and want to do some work on the wardrobes in bedrooms 2 and 3 , see attached plan. Its not a standard guvvie but is a standard house for the time (at least in this old part).

I am after some advice on enlarging the wardrobe for bedroom 2 by stealing space from the Bedroom 3 wardrobe.

It looks a trussed roof to us, so we have assumed non load bearing however now we have removed the gyprock on the bedroom 3 side we are not so sure. There is a timber brace in the stud wall up to the divide between the cupboards. As the wall is in line with the external wall on the patio, perhaps it is load bearing?

Also there has been a change done previously, Bedroom 3 currently has the whole wardrobe. there doesn't appear to have been any structural work done previously.

Hoping this is an easy change.
