Murphy bed
Here is my latest project.... and boy has it freed up some space in the spare room! Tassie oak veneer HMR chipboard and BB ply (for the bed frame) and solid tassie oak moldings. I gave a cut list to Allboard in Bayswater and they cut up the full sheets. and edge banded the edges I specified. Then I built it. The hardware for the bed (hinges, pivots, latches and gas rams) came from Rockler in the USA and was about $400 landed here. the hardware also included the plans for the basic bed. The...
