im doing a weatherboard extension and need to brace one of the walls with ply as it has two windows and two doors and i cant use strap bracing. Its a bit of a pain as i will have to brace the full length (10m) i think this will be easier than packing studs for the weatherboards.Ive been told by the bloke at bunnings that the ply is 4mm thick and im going to hire a coil gun to fix them on what spacings and nail size do i need? the drafty gave me no info on what was needed for bracing but the inspector said to ply brace and gave me no more info. and also im i best to nail full sheets and then cut out the door and window openings?
