Prefab Sheds
I wasn't sure where to put this, but this looks like a good place.. please move it if it is wrong area
Pretty much, I want to buy a prefab shed, and put it on a piece of land, I did read an earlier post about being under 10m that you don't need council approval, I was just wondering if this was right at all?
The type I am looking to get, is 6m x 12m and has all fittings, toilet, shower, air con etc.. like a real house! Is there any ruling whatsoever against these types of things.. I am assuming that you wouldn't need a building regulation person to come and check when it's place on land would you?
Another thing, is that I would be placing this on the second half of my parents land, so would there be any problem with that at all.. fair enough, would have to pay for an extra toilet in use, and maybe some extra rates, which is fine.. but is there anything actually illegal about it.. I thought not, only because it's sort of like a granny flat really..
Any insight would be MUCHLY appreciated!
