Hi folks
Ihave posted here before. We have bought this old house in Toowong few months ago and we decided to raise it, restumped it, pour a concrete slab, build a frame, put cladding etc.. Anyway, our friend architect made, drawings for a structural engineer, who has done his drawings already. Now, it needs to go to certifier. We also need a builder, ( I can understand that bit) and apparently we also need to pay something called "Qleave". Can somebody explain why do we need to pay this fee??
Who is it for?
I'm not employing anyone, just contractors and you pay lump sum to them anyway.
