The house is being built from the ground up. It's 3 bedroom 2.5 bath, 2 car garage, 1600 sqft. It is a townhouse in a fourplex on the right side. The builders have particular floor plans available that aren't changeable. The only problem I have with the plan is that the master bathroom is extremely small. There is a second bathroom right next to the master bathroom so here's what I'd like to do.

I want to combine the two bathrooms into one large bathroom. I want to convert the laundry room on the other side of the floor (3rd floor) into a 3/4 bath (shower, no tub). The laundry room will either be put into the garage (on the 1st floor) or into a linen closet stacked on the 3rd floor with the bedrooms. The garage is a tandem 2 car garage with large storage space (large enough to fit a bed or an office).

Is this possible? How much (averager) will this cost? Should the laundry be done on the 1st floor (Florida weather, no freezing) and be carried up to the third floor or be stacked into a linen closet on the 3rd floor?
