I am renovating an 1890's workman's cottage in Lithgow in the Central West area of NSW. The interior walls and ceilings are cladded boards. Some of the timber baords needs to be replaced and I am trying to locate a supplier for replacement timber.

The cladding is tongue and grove ( sorry not a technical person) with the facade of the board being 4inches or 11cm.

To start with I need 10 boards x 3.2 metres and 3 boards x 3.8 metres. And there are other borads to be replaced in other rooms - but not just yet!

I have loacted a heritage supplier in Sydney who quoted for pine at $5.30 a linear metre with length only coming in 5.4 metre lengths.
Is this a reasonable price? Or can anyone suggest what I should be paying and any alternative suppliers?
