What size timber is required for noggins
I'm about to start putting up noggings in my ceilings. Its necessary on my hip ends where the trusses are perpendicular to the main set of trusses on the house. My trusses are 600 centres and I'll be putting up 10mm ceiling plasterboards.
Can anyone advise will 70x35mm timber meet specifications for the noggings or should I use 90x35mm. Also is merch grade acceptable or shoudl I be using MGP10.
Thanks
Mike
