Stair stringer stock size
Hi All,
First time posting in this forum.
I'm looking at replacing my staircase and need some advice on stock size for the stringers. The total rise is 2620mm, run is 3250mm with 14 risers and 250mm going on the treads. Staircase is 900mm wide.
I've located tables that give sizes for different stringers depending on the stringer span, but it's not clear how the span is measured. Is it the horizontal run (so 3250mm) or the length of the stringer?
I'd appreciate any assistance you can provide.
