Structural engineer around Heidelberg, Melb?
Our place is a bit of a hybrid, solid brick, the front half being 1930's era, the back half 1970's. The back is fine but the front half is showing some serious looking cracking and while I understand cracking is not always an issue, these cracks appear to be changing. I have patched a few roughly to see if they re-open and a few have. I also have a few in the outside walls that are over 15mm wide and widening.
I've also noticed most of these requests go unanswered, so we'll see if anyone replies.
I'm after an engineers opinion on what is happening and how to stop it. Any advice appreciated.
