Hello. I was given some wrong information regarding enclosing of a patio. I was told firstly that no council approval was needed by a reputable patio company, hence I went ahead and built the patio in. After this was done I was informed that it should have been council approved and set out to correct the mis information. the hurdle that I have hit now is that the Ipswich Council are saying that the ceiling height for the sunroom is not legal. I do know that the normal height for ceilings is 2.4 in habital areas. Is a sunroom classed as a habital area? the height from the pre existing patio roof ranges from 2190 to 2060.

Hope someone can give me some quidance.
