Timber Framing and fire resistance level
Hi all, I've got an old very old weatherboard joint and and trying to get my head around doing a reno out the back. The side wall that I want to extend is right on the boundary, so the BCA says it needs a fire resistance level of 60/60/60. ????? I'm trying to work out if there is any way to make a timber framed wall comply with that. I'm guessing that maybe 'timber' and 'fire resistance' don't go to well together Any thoughts appreciated cheers, jim.
