Can you treat a standard LVL to H2?
I have a LVL that I intend to use, everthing else I have has been T2 treated by the manufacturer, LVL's and I joists, I still have to come up with a termite solution (even though the house has been here 50 yrs and only had borers eat some of the baltic pine flooring.
Is there any products worth buying to paint this with a coating rather than buy a new LVL? Would paint it do??
I notice up the road on thier renos the builder didnt use treated LVL's as they are not building under straight away, so they will have the same issue down the track, or can I leave too for later?
