Hi guys, been visiting here for a while and thought is about time register and contribute!

first thing I will hit you pro's with it s some comment on how best to waterproof the junction between a flat house slab (ie no recess and no hob for frame to sit on) and the external wall frame. I have been caught out as to where the wall sits in relation to edge of the slab and forsee potential water issue of water potentially entering the house from under the bottom plate of the wall frame. the only thing I can think of is fixing my wall down to the slab then fixing a appropriately sized plastic angle on the exterior face of it and siicon (or waterproofing) it to the slab and bottom plate of the frame. My vapour barrier and cladding would then run over the lip of the angle that attaches to the frame.

What you all think, any other ideas?

Cheers
