    Default verandah posts..

    tis me again

Just wondering, do I get the verandah posts stirrup'd and in cement before or after the limestone goes down?

MY common sense is telling me before so we don't dig up yucky dirt and ruin the finish of the limestone. It is also telling me once the ground is compacted its going to be hard to dig thru it.

    Am I correct?

    Thankyou again,
    Kylie

Get the stirrups for your posts in first. These will also help when you are spreading the limestone as you can use them for a rough guide to level and thickness.

    Kylie,
just make sure you set the stirrups up high enough to clear the extra height of the limestone.

I'll bet he knew what you meant though. A good description is always better than the wrong name.
