    Default bolt removal

    how can I extract rusty old countersunk philips head bolts from 1" hardwood floorboards in a shipping container tapped (and rusted) into steel joists?

    hope there's some geniuses out there !!

    If you just want to retrieve the wood, you can drill the heads off. If you need them completely removed you may need to use easy outs or there are modern versions.here

    the irwin tools look good - these are very hard bolts ... i'd probably destroy a few drill bits in the process but guess I'll have to hunker down to it.
