Where to buy 2nd hand merbu decking - Melbourne(70mm @ 40lm)
Im half way through a small 3.5m x 2.5m deck which I have used some old 70x19 merbu boards that I have had lying around. Problem is that I have only enough to do half of the deck so Im looking for some 2nd hand ones to closly match the ones I have already laid. Anyone know where I could get some? I require approx 40 lm and dont mind if I have to travel for them.
cheers!

well I went and picked up a few new boards to test out. and it seems my older ones have shrunk to 65x17! So im thinking of using 70x19's with no spacing inbetween so when they shrink its hould even up. Just a little concerned about drainage and moisture build up while there is no gap between the boards on half of the deck. Anyone have any opinions?
cheers

always use a gap, even as small as 3mm , the boards will contract and Expand.....if there is no gap to help compensate , then they will lift up ..and or warp or both ...depending on the fixing
