Mould on new Merbu
This is my very first post and I am going to demonstrate my status as a true amateur. My first big project is replacing the timber on a small 14m2 deck. The previous deck was uncovered and the boards were not salvagable. I had some merbu delivered while I was not home and discovered that some of it had mould on it. The supplier reckons that I just lay it in the sun for a day or so, then lay the deck and clean it afterwards and it will come up fine. The Feast Watson Woodclean was recommended. I'm a bit doubtful. Is this okay?? Any and all advice will be greatfully appreciated.

I would tell him to pick it up and deliver a new load. You didn't pay a discounted rate so why should you have to pat out and labour to get it to the condition it should have been in from the start!
