Default Synteko Classic on Baltic Pine

I am planning to have my floors sanded and polished shortly. The house is Victorian style with 100 year old 150mm Baltic Pine floorboards. I want a satin finish through the hallway, bedroom, lounge, dining, powder (not bathroom) and kitchen. I am looking for a low maintenance finish with a natural look to highlight the grain and character of the timber. As we will probably use floor rugs in many areas, wear will be somewhat uneven, so being able to spot repair may be advantageous further down the track.

I have read some positive comments from contractors (Ironwood.com.au, finishedtimber.com.au) about Synteko Classic which is an acid cured alkyd/amino resin product. Has anyone had experience with this product, especially on old Baltic Pine? I know it is not as hard wearing as moisture cured PU, but I would prefer a more natural finish, so am prepared to trade off some wear, but don't really want to go all the way to a tung oil finish that is high maintenance.

    Cheers,
    Stuart

one off the best finhses on the market it goes on well and gives a good even look. synteko say that 2 coats with no sealer can be used but we use three coats. its a two part system that in hot weather you need to decrease the amount of harder to give working time. Tony from synteko can advise the ratios.

just a warrning this stuff while being low VOC it stinks really bad so move the family out while its being done.

see the spotted gum floor this was coated with classic,
