Hi, We have Tung oiled floors on a stained 100 yo cypress pine. This was done professionally 4 years ago. It is now showing dullness and ‘pitting’ or beak down of finish in high traffic areas (kitchen and parts of hall).
What’s the best process for restoring these areas back to a good finish. The patches seem strait forward but the kitchen needs complete rejuvenation as it’s very dull.
We are loathe to get sanding done as advised by one ‘expert’. I feel there would be a less invasive preparation?
Plus any recommendations on oil brands would be appreciated.
Thank you
Matt
