Hello Gents,

Here is a close-up photo of one of the joins in the Tap Combination that was in the wall at the back of the Shower/Bath. That chalky green deposit that you can see was actually a little bit worse when I first found it, because I've since rubbed a bit of it away with my fingernail (standard practice, I believe, with corrosive plumbing deposits when you first find them...:D). Anyhow, it's only around one of the joins, and it's a "factory"-join at that. You can probably also make out that there's no evidence of any water running down the feeder-pipe (which is a "hotty"...)

So the question is: Could this stain be a surface-thing only - caused perhaps by the excessive use of Flux in the join back in the factory (now reacting with the copper due to the running through the pipe of Hot water...), or is it more than likely a sign of a very slow leak (that will probably get worse...)? :(

I guess it's probably standard practice to replace Combo's whenever a wall is open, but your assorted thoughts anyway if you please...

Many Thanks,
Batpig.
