installing an lg split sys air con
should i attempt to install this unit my self and save some cash or should i
get some one to do it for me. Its only a 10A unit so it shouldnt be too difficult as i have a point already installed in the roof for a ducted evap unit that we wont be installing. Any help greatly appreciated.

I meant that 10A is not much as i work on 20A compressors and 32A three phase equipment electrically daily so 10A single phase is pretty simple compared.

If you install it yourself (just the aircon not the wiring) you will save yourself around $250-450 so this saving should allow you to get an electrician to do the wiring.
Have you installed split systems before? I never have, but surely it cant be that hard! How many times have i said that and been wrong...plenty
